There were miles of queues on the M4 around Newport
There were long queues on the M4 with several incidents causing congestion this afternoon (September 25). One lane was closed on the westbound carriageway from junction 25 for the B4596 Caerleon Road and junction 25A at the A4042 due to a crash.
There was also congestion to junction 23A for Magor services with traffic monitoring system Inrix warning drivers of queues of around 35 minutes.
