I’m a retired journalist who worships the idea of free speech and would defend the right of anyone to voice their opinion, no matter how irrational or repulsive I find it.
Without giving a lecture on the subject, however, I know this: Nowhere is a veiled assassination wish considered to be an acceptable exercise of free speech, especially from a man of Musk’s stature and immense power.
