Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe mooted the idea of involving Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos in providing funds for a new stadium.
Ratcliffe saw a deal agreed to become a minority shareholder in United 12 months ago which ultimately led to him acquiring a 27.7 per cent share for £1.25billion. There has been a great deal of change on and off the pitch as a result.
