Sept 28 (Reuters) – France's competition authority raided Nvidia's (NVDA.O) local offices this week on suspicion the chipmaker engaged in anticompetitive practices, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
The French competition authority, which disclosed the dawn raid on Wednesday, did not say what practices it was investigating or which company it had targeted, beyond saying it was in the "graphics cards sector."

Ex-Apple designer Ive, OpenAI's Altman discuss AI hardware -The Information | Reuters

Sept 26 (Reuters) – Apple's (AAPL.O) former design chief, Jony Ive, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman have been discussing building a new artificial intelligence (AI) hardware device, The Information reported on Tuesday, citing two people familiar with the matter.
It is not clear what the device would be or if they will decide to build it but the duo have been discussing what new hardware for the AI age could look like, the report said.
